The weather is really crazy this season in bay area, and strong winds has happened many times with heavy rain, fence damage is so often mentioned in the neighbors! And now after repairing the fence, what to do with those wood fence slab lying around? This is why I dig out and share this tutorial from noahw, using second hand 55 gallon food safe plastic barrels and some scrap wood on the planer, noahw was able to create some very basic planters for his backyard garden, with the barrels were purchased off of craigslist for $10 a piece. But if you have painted house, the bucket will also do the trick! A simple project even ladies can do.
