Cleaning can be tough,especially when it comes to the kitchen and bathroom. But there are always simple tips and tricks that can make these daily chores easy. I have shared so many cleaning tips to ease our lives. And now I am going to share an easy and organic DIY mold spray recipe you can easily make by yourself without the use of harsh and toxic chemicals. All you need is tea tree oil and vinegar. Tea tree oil is good essential oil for men. Vinegar is always known to be a great household product for cleaning, and tea tree oil is a power anti-fungal that can work on all types of mold, isn’t harmful to breathe in like some cleaners can be.
There are some versatile recipes for this spray, and I am going to share some ones I prefer, ’cause My hubby cannot bear all the girly essential oil scent!
- Easiest: Mix 1 cups white vinegar & 1 teaspoons tea tree essential oil in Spray bottle
- Mix 1 cup white vinegar, 5 drops Orange or lemon essential oil (not both) & 5 drops tea tree essential oil
- An expensive but powerful one that men love: Mix 1 cup vodka, 1 Cup Distilled Water, 10 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil , 10 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil. 10 drops Lavender Essential Oil
These spray works well around the sink, grout and even walls. Spray the powerful mold and mildew spray directly on your mold or mildew problem. If it is really a bad problem leave on for 30 minutes or more before you wipe clean. Damp areas like bathrooms and showers will require more frequent cleaning to prevent mold growth. And if possible, increase the ventilation in the room with an open window or fan to slow mold re-occurrence. Spray this simple 2-ingredient cleaner every 2 to 3 days to keep your shower mold and mildew free.
